Insurance
When you insure your antique, classic, or custom vehicle, your insurance company will ask you for a value of the vehicle. The value you provide to them, in most cases, will be considered a 'stated' value.

What does that mean? You 'stated' what you thought was the value of your vehicle or what you paid for it. Even though you paid your premiums based on your 'stated' value, when it comes to a major claim, without an appraisal, the insurance company will only pay the book value of the vehicle.

In order to protect your investment, you need an appraisal in order to prove the actual value of your vehicle.

AAU will appraise your vehicle and can assist you in finding a reputable insurance company.

Donations
If you are going to donate your vehicle, it must be appraised if it is valued over $5000. AAU will appraise your vehicle prior to donation and will provide a completed IRS form 8283 to file with your taxes.

Pre-Purchase
Before you purchase your next vehicle, consider having it appraised prior to purchase to ensure you are getting your moneys worth. Whether the vehicle is across the street, or across the country, AAU will be there to make sure you're getting a good value.

Diminished Value
Diminished Value is when your vehicle is damaged and even though it is repaired, the actual value of the vehicle could be lower becuase of the damage that occurred. Whether it be from an accident, theft, vandalism, flooding, or anything else, the resale value of your vehicle will be less even when repaired. With a professional appraisal from Auto Appraisals Unlimited, you should be able to file a diminished value claim against the insurance company and recover this loss.

Property Settlements
Whether it be for a divorce, estate, or any other type of property settlement, it is important to know the true value of the property you own. An appraisal from Auto Appraisals Unlimited will be recognized in most courts of law as a true representation of the value of your vehicle(s). Protect yourself and your family by having your vehicle(s) appraised by Auto Appraisals Unlimited.

Loan Requirements
When purchasing a custom or classic vehicle, most lenders do not have the resources to establish the true value of the vehicle you are buying. They depend on 'book values' to establish the amount that they will give you to purchase the vehicle. Any custom or classic vehicle is an individual and the actual value cannot be determined by a book. A book could never determine the true value of a vehicle. Whether it's a 'fixer-upper' or it's fully restored, an appraisal from Auto Appraisals Unlimited will be accepted by most lenders as an accurate assessment of the value of the vehicle that you want to purchase.
